Hello.
I want to set up an Apache Server that uses PHP for
the general fuctions of a Database based Website
(which is a big mysql using suite named Ilias - maybe someone knows it,
too? ).
this server shall also use Tomcat to implement the Java-Servlets Technique
to let Jess Servlets run...

2 students have designed a Standalone Tomcat Solution
that uses Jess in a Servlet. The Http Output is generated thru
WebMacros (www.webmacro.org).
When you start the Tomcat and open 'Localhost' you see
the First generated page of the Jess Servlet.

When you start the apache and type localhost, you see the first page of the
Website.

Now i have the Job to integrate the Tomcat into the Apache
in that way, that the first Page on Localhost is not the
generated Jess Page but the first page of the Website.

The visitor shall start the servlet via clicking the link
on the Website.

Does anyone have experiences in configuring the servers?
Does anyone know how to integrate the Webmacros in this difficult system?

Answers and any suggestions are welcome!

Best regards
Michael
