JESS: Question about logical

I have a logical block on LHS pattern and on the action part a definstance is created when conditions are satisfied.
When the facts that match the rule are modified, the created definstance
fact is retracted and a new one is asserted. But I notice that no
Definstance removed event is sent. There is a fact removed event received though.
I have set the event mask to JessEvent.DEFINSTANCE.

Is there anything else I must do?
