The latest release of Jess, version 6.1b2, is available for download
at the usual location:

I'm excited about this version because it really delivers on what the
6.1 series has promised: fully arbitrary nested conditional
elements. I'd really appreciate it if folks would pound on this
release and see if they can come up with any rule LHSs that aren't
properly handled.

There are also a number of small feature enhancements, as described in
the change log:

Proper handling for "OR" CE's deeply nested inside
NOTs. Nested, negated "test" CEs now work properly. Add
"getThisActivation" and "getThisRuleName" to Rete (thanks
Richard Kasperowski.) Can test fact bindings against
previously defined variables. Simple public ConditionalElement
        class. "exists" handled by parser.
