JESS: A Question

I am very new to Jess.  I just downloaded Jess 6.0 in my Linux machine.  I am not sure whether I have right set of tools.  These are what I have in my box.  Could you tell me if I need to upgrade some or all?  What versions I need?   Linux --  Mandrake Javac v1.4 JDK 1.2.2 JSDK 1.1.2     Thanks.   Arun
