Hello All, For developers interested in incorporating CBR (Case-Based Reasoning) techniques into JESS, can request a copy of NaCoDAE version-3.0 ( Navy Conversational Decision Aids Environment) from Len Breslow at the U.S navy (contact email shown below). This package is written in Java. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----
Leonard Breslow, Ph.D. Intelligent Decision Aids Group Navy Center for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence Naval Research Laboratory (Code 5515) 4555 Overlook Avenue SW Washington, DC 20375-5337 (202) 404-7736, (202) 404-7036 FAX: (202) 767-3172 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.aic.nrl.navy.mil/~breslow/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Only the "jar-file" for NaCoDAE CBR-inference engine is available (plus docs). Academics get access to full source codes. There is also a form to be signed about its use. I have been using JESS for over 3 years and also NaCoDAE CBR-inference engine for almost a year. I have been using them independently, but recently I am tempted to incorporate CBR into JESS. Developing CBR into Expert System is new to me, but I am keen to give it a crack. I have only come across a few free online academic publications about "CBR Expert Systems", so I am studying these to see how I am going to proceed with this. So , anyone from this newsgroup who is experienced or a guru in "CBR Expert Systems" can perhaps point out more available publications (books and links). CBR guru like Paul Haley (from Haley Enterprise) in this newsgroup, might have some comments about "CBR Expert Systems" or JESS and CBR. Any recommended reading (or comment) from Paul would be appreciated. Cheers, Sione. -------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send the words 'unsubscribe jess-users [EMAIL PROTECTED]' in the BODY of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED], NOT to the list (use your own address!)
