The 1.1 version of JessTab is now available in the Protigi plug-in
library. JessTab is a plug-in for the Protigi system that allows Jess to
operate on Protigi knowledge bases. It adds several functions to Jess and
provides a Jess console window in the Protigi environment.
In addition to bug fixes, version 1.1 includes the following changes:
- Added support for multiple Jess engines working on the same Protigi
knowledge base.
- Added break button to interrupt runaway Jess engines.
- Added support for OWL knowledge bases in Protigi (requires installation
of the OWL plugin). The usual JessTab knowledge-base operations work for OWL KBs.
For example, the defclass and make-instance functions create OWL classes
and individuals, respectively.
- Added instance query functions: find-all-instances, find-instance,
any-instancep, do-for-instance, do-for-all-instances, and
delayed-do-for-all-instances.
- Added utility functions functions: slot-boundp, slot-makunbound,
class-direct-superclasses, class-direct-subclasses,
remove-direct-subclass, and add-direct-subclass.
This JessTab version is compiled for both Protege 1.9 and 2.0 (as separate
jar files).
