Sorry but i've never said that u weren't helpfull. I was trying to solve the problem with many different ways, and I was asking u why it's not working each time! I never asked two questions for the same problem ! I was trying what u were telling me, but when it gaves no results, it's normal to show u the problem i guess ! that's the purpose of the mailing list if i'm not wrong ! Well anyhow, that's not the problem now. My program did finally work and thank u anyway for being helpfull. Concerning the error message, it would be better I think if it could tell " could not find deftemplate predicate in fact myfact " for example. it would be more clear. You've tried the same thing at least three different ways, and each time I've pointed out the errors, and you've gone on to try things another different way rather than fixing the small errors. It seems as though you haven't even been reading what I've written. In my last mail, I told you to use "triple" instead of "fact1", and "RU.STRING" instead of "RU.SYMBOL" for the slots that contain URLs, and then your simple program should work fine. I also asked you for feedback to help improve the error messages you've seen, because in every case all I've been doing is explaining what the error messages were already trying to tell you. --------------------------------------------------------- Ernest Friedman-Hill Advanced Software Research Phone: (925) 294-2154 Sandia National Labs FAX: (925) 294-2234 PO Box 969, MS 9012 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Livermore, CA 94550 http://herzberg.ca.sandia.gov -------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send the words 'unsubscribe jess-users [EMAIL PROTECTED]' in the BODY of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED], NOT to the list (use your own address!)
