What matters here is the version of the JVM that's running Eclipse
itself. If you run Eclipse using a Java 6 JVM, then everything will
work fine.

I haven't tried compiling the JESS source code with the 6.0 compiler
though, since the source code in jesssrc.jar does not include the code
for JessDE, I suspect that wouldn't correct the problem.
I am just flagging this for anyone else having the same problem -- it
took me a while to sort out the cause.
