I already tried that without success.
1. Are there other places (i.e other than
/plugins/gov.sandia.jess_7.0.0/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF) that need to be
updated?
2. Has the dependency been removed in the latest version of Jess? If
that is the case, maybe updating to the latest version might be
something to try.

Maybe starting eclipse with "eclipse -clean" will help?

I am trying to install a new eclipse plug-in (namely, CDT) and eclipse
is complaining saying "JessDE (7.0.0) requires plug-in
org.eclipse.pde.ui".
I remember that there was some discussion in this group earlier saying
that this dependency has been removed. When I look under
<>/plugins/gov.sandia.jess_7.0.0/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF, there is no
such
dependency. (I remember removing the dependency on orgl.eclipse.pde.ui
manually from this file).
Any thoughts on how to get around this would be greatly appreciated.

Kartha
