There are some ongoing compatibility issues between Jess 7.1 and the "SWRLJessTab" plugin for the Protege ontology editor. I understand that the author is working to resolve them. Although the latest Jess patch release should help with that by adding a compatibility switch, based on the fairly large amount of email I've gotten on the subject, there are many people who want an immediate solution. Therefore I've arranged for a 30-day trial binary of Jess 7.0p2 to once again be available from the Jess site which, to the best of my understanding, works correctly with the other software.

Note that this is a 30-day trial. If, after 30 days, you're still using the software, you're expected to obtain a license. Academic licenses are free for the asking to qualified institutions; contact Craig Smith, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
