They make for a nice cheap data persistence mechanism; see the classic
"animals" demo that comes with Jess, or the TekMart example in "Jess
in Action".
These occurred to me:
- creating a WM snapshot after running into trouble and before
shutting down
- create a fast startup file for WM initialization
