Drools comes with an example "solving" Sudoku. Translation into Jess would
be
straightforward; there are no fancy Conditional Elements involved.

I wrote "solving" in quotes since any approach using rules is bound to fail
with
any problem requiring more sophisticated techniques or, ultimately, trial
and
error.
