Dear Prayer Partners:
Many of you have been praying for our concert of Praise in
Santiago on August 14. I have just finished an article for the upcoming October -
December 2004 Global Prayer News reporting on it, and I didn't want you waiting until
October to see it. So here is a brief excerpt of the article.
"It was a dream come true for the body of Christ in Spain. It was
a nightmare for the Queen of Heaven.
In the original vision, we saw hundreds of worshippers. Three
thousand showed up from every corner of Spain plus from at least 30 nations including
Germany, Norway, Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Switzerland,
France, Poland, South Africa, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, United
States, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, El
Salvador, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and probably others. We were welcomed to Santiago
by the Mayor of the city.
The two hours were non-stop worship with nine individuals leading
the crowd in short prayers. English was translated to Spanish by Bruno Interlandi of
Italy and Spanish was translated to English by Jos� L�pez of Spain. Songs were
bilingual. The focus was on Jesus Christ. Paco Garc�a became quite emotional, and he
said that since he was a young believer, this event had been his dream. He felt that
later on he would look back on his ministry as before Santiago and after Santiago
I concluded with an apostolic declaration."
