FOOD FOR OVER 5000
MATTHEW 14:14-21 NKJ
14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with
compassion for them, and healed their sick.
15 When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, "This is a
deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that
they may go into the villages and buy themselves food."
16 But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them
something to eat."
17 And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish."
18 He said, "Bring them here to Me."
19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took
the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and
broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the
multitudes.
20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full
of the fragments that remained.
21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and
children.
FOOD FOR OVER 4000
MATTHEW 15:32-38 NKJ
32 Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, "I have compassion on
the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have
nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on
the way."
33 Then His disciples said to Him, "Where could we get enough bread in the
wilderness to fill such a great multitude?"
34 Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" And they said,
"Seven, and a few little fish."
35 And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
36 And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them
and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.
37 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets
full of the fragments that were left.
38 Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
TAX MONEY
MATTHEW 17:24-27 NKJ
24 And when they had come to Capernaum, those who received the temple tax
came to Peter and said, "Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?"
25 He said, "Yes." And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated
him, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth
take customs or taxes, from their own sons or from strangers?"
26 Peter said to Him, "From strangers." Jesus said to him, "Then the sons
are free.
27 "Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and
take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will
find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you."
SUCCESS ON THE JOB
JOHN 21:3-6 NKJ
3 Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are
going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that
night they caught nothing.
4 But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the
disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
5 Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered
Him, "No."
6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you
will find some." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because
of the multitude of fish.
WINE FOR WEDDING FEAST
JOHN 2:1-11 NKJ
1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother
of Jesus was there.
2 Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
3 And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They
have no wine."
4 Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My
hour has not yet come."
5 His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."
6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner
of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.
7 Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water." And they filled them
up to the brim.
8 And He said to them, "Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the
feast." And they took it.
9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and
did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water
knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
10 And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine,
and when the guests have well drunk, then that which is inferior; but you have
kept the good wine until now."
11 This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His
glory; and His disciples believed in Him.
PROVISION IN MINISTRY
LUKE 22:35 NKJ
35 And He said to them, "When I sent you without money bag, sack, and
sandals, did you lack anything?" So they said, "Nothing."
LUKE 10:4 NKJ
4 "Carry neither money bag, sack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the
road.

28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest.
AUTHORITY
