Profil Pembicara:
Rev. Prof. Samuel Ling, Ph.D. adalah Presiden dari China Horizon, yang
mempersembahkan dirinya untuk mengajar doktrin Alkitab di dunia Chinese. Beliau
mengajar mata kuliah: Theologi Sistematika, Theologi Biblika, Sejarah Gereja,
Apologetika, Ibadah, dan Konseling Alkitabiah. Beliau ditahbiskan di
Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Beliau menjalankan pertumbuhan gereja di
New York. Pada tahun 1990-an, beliau adalah Pendeta senior dari Chinese
Christian Union Church of Chicago, dan direktur dari the Institute for Chinese
Studies, Billy Graham Center, Wheaton College.
Beliau adalah lulusan dari University of Pennsylvania (sejarah intelektual),
meraih gelar Master of Divinity (M.Div.) dan Master of Theology (Th.M.) dalam
bidang misi dari Westminster Theological Seminary; dan Doctor of Philosophy
(Ph.D.) dalam bidang sejarah dari Temple University. Keluarganya tinggal di
Southern California.
Beliau telah menulis ratusan artikel secara berkala seperti Chinese Around
the World, Chinese Churches Today, Ambassadors, Challenger, and Momentum.
Beliau telah mengajar di Covenant Seminary, Westminster Seminary California,
Reformed Institute, Singapore Bible College, Wheaton College, Regent College,
dan sekolah lainnya. Saat ini, beliau melayani sebagai profesor dari theologi
historika dan sistematika di International Theological Seminary
(www.itsla.edu), El Monte, California.
