Hi, thats right, it would be better to remove the checkbox for already used portlets or make it readonly.
The portlet will not be removed by unchecking: 1) The button was called add and the function behind adds portlets else I had to modify the function... 2) We have the remove ability on the layout page. Why the checkbox is still there: Now when you check a portlet you can add it if it is not already used. Before it was possible to add a portlet multiple times. I made this available so I could use the ClearPortlet to create links (parameter url, every ClearPortlet acted as a link). But when I removed one link (clearportlet) all links have been removed - this happened because the name reference. Now I insert links by using my LinkPortlet. There's no limit of links and links can be customized or they remain static. Andreas > -----Original Message----- > From: Chris Kimpton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Donnerstag, 6.
