           Summary: username in database is longer than HTML page forms
           Product: Jetspeed
           Version: 1.4
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other

        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

although the database will accomodate usernames up to 32 chars,the jetspeed
forms restrict the length to only 25.
<P>
to increase the length of the username in the forms, edit
<BR>
$J/webapps/jetspeed/WEB-INF/templates/vm/navigations/html/top.vm
<BR>
and
<BR>
$J/webapps/jetspeed/WEB-INF/templates/vm/screens/html/Login.vm
<P>
it would be best if these input fields' lengths were in some global definitions
file rather than hard-coded.
<BR>
Paul
