Login portlet not working with jboss 3.2.3

I have configured jetspeed 2 and jboss 3.2.3, but I am not able to login from
the jetspeed home page, I have added the users.properites and roles.properties
and added the users but still I am not able to login, if I try to login same
page get refreshed,
Kindly let me know the way out.
