First, let's go with concrete work As per William Rowe's message to the committer's list, I have checked that some of the files under jakarta.apache.org:/www/jakarta,apache.org/jetspeed/site (scp syntax here) were owned by me and *NOT* group writable. I have solved the issue (change ownership, umask 012 + cvs update). I have found plenty of conflicts then. I choosed to delete the faulty files and update again. So the web site should be conflict free now, and up to date. Please check. On a superficial check, I found no problem, but I'm not sure. After this, I wanted to tell you that I'm back into the list. I have had a surplus of work, that inhibited me from answering (sometimes even reading) the list. Now I'm getting rid of the back log, and will be back into commits soon. I have some very small commits waiting in my working copy, and expect to send them real soon. I'm very impressed by the last commits from the rest of you. I have been tracking cvs, and I'm about to substitute my current server by a new one. This one is a couple of machines using Linux Virtual Server. You can reach them in http://hisitech.com:8080/jetspeed/portal/ Both machines have persistent connections via source IP, so you can loose your sessions if you are using a proxy with several IPs. Tell me, I can use a broader netmask. One is running Tomcat 3.3.x and the other Tomcat 4.0b7. Try them if you want. In a short time, they will replace my current jetspeed machine. I'm working into the session persistency and other issues for a fault tolerant, load balancing setup. See you in the next days. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
