http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=4192 Manual approval of new users under jetspeed ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2001-10-31 05:18 ------- Chris, The following item need to be addressed: o Language of approver and new user. Jetspeed must maintain multi-language support. In this case we cannot assume the "approver" speaks the "new user's" language, and vice versa. Suggest you add "new.user.notification.language=" to JR.p. On the user side, see below. o One of two possible email messages will be sent, but their is only configuration for one. Suggest you add configuration to include: o Name and Subject of "notification of new user" email o Name and Subject of "need approval for a new user" email o How will the user know when he can login? Suggest you add an email notification the send/reject button. The email must be the "new user's" language. You should be able to accomplish this either by adding the columns Language and Country ( more work, but preferred ) or including Language and Country in the notification email.
