Well, I would say - no it isn't worth to release it without these updates :) (It shall 
also be stable by adding these changes!)

BUT - my Internet connection at home (no firewall/proxy) is gone and the telco company 
wasn't able to fix it right now. So hopefully I can contact cvs this night. But if it 
is very urgent I would say create the 1.3a2.

Is it worth releasing 1.3a2 before applying you updates?  Jetspeed is 
currently stable and we know how it is working ;)

Their is some work I need to do relative to caching in the 
WebPagePortlet, but I am waiting for the release before starting any 
work, i.e. I do not want to break Jetspeed right before a release.
