Wait a sec... I thought the idea of the peid was to id each thing in the
portal: portlet sets, controls, and portlets, so anything can be identified.
If there's no id on a control, then how do we get a control+portlet, v.s. a
portlet w/o control, but different ids?

Really?  How does Turbine know about this jetspeed extension?  I didn't see
anything like that... Except in the Jetspeed code, the
JetspeedSessionValidator, which sets the "portal" from the request into the
rundata, but didn't do anything with the "js_peid".  I realize that I may be
missing something here, though.
