Use the id from the <entry>
Wait a sec... I thought the idea of the peid was to id each thing in the portal: portlet sets, controls, and portlets, so anything can be identified. If there's no id on a control, then how do we get a control+portlet, v.s. a portlet w/o control, but different ids? > > Turbine calls setJs_peid when it see js_peid on the url Really? How does Turbine know about this jetspeed extension? I didn't see anything like that... Except in the Jetspeed code, the JetspeedSessionValidator, which sets the "portal" from the request into the rundata, but didn't do anything with the "js_peid". I realize that I may be missing something here, though. - Glenn -------------------------------------------- Glenn R.
