Good! (I mean baaad!) I was fearing that I was the only one seeing this. I'm not sure, but everything points to a race condition in turbine service initialization. I'm still researching it, and I think that today I got closer to it. It is being one of the worse bugs of this kind I have researched: not blocking, just annoying, difficult to spot... It looks like Windows is immune. I have to stop and start again. It seems to happen less if the machine is left alone while tomcat starts, and does not receive requests until after CPU load goes back to 0.
