Okay David, May be you can try Turkey for your next vacation. We have many beautifull places... Historical or natural Last weak I tried to isolate our frame work and to create ldap services for jetspeed which will be used for Security implementation. Old one which was developed for one of our client has also castor, and many other concepts. This ldap service undocumented for now. I will talk to our client and ask If it will be a problem for them. But It works, even I implemented om objects which wasn't included our first project but necessary for an isolated jetspeed implementation. May be you can inform me about feature licensing and development stage. This ldap backend has a disadvantage, an ugly pooling mechanism which can be easily upgraded. For now may be a problem under heavy load... At my next mail I will try to explain in detail with some code...

I believe Jan Grant is also working on an LDAP implementation. Be great if we could come up with a basic LDAP Authentication service for Jetspeed. If there's anything I can do to help please let me know, David > -----Original Message----- > From: Ender KILIÇOGLU [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Saturday, July 06, 2002 4:36 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: LDAP - New Security Framework Ldap implementation > > > Hi > We developed some ldap auth version of new Security Framework but It > depends on our user types and ldap utility backends.
