What about this solution:
public String getAttribute( String attrName, String attrDefValue,
RunData rundata )
{
String attrValue = null;
PortletInstance instance = PersistenceManager.getInstance(this,
rundata);
attrValue = instance.getAttribute(attrName, attrDefValue);
return attrValue;
}
It was commented out, but I don't know why....
