http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13286 Encoding of the registry files: always default system encoding? Summary: Encoding of the registry files: always default system encoding? Product: Jetspeed Version: 1.4b1 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Registry AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] It seems that the .xreg files are always assumed to be encoded in the system's default character encoding. I think there should be a way provided to use another encoding. Same problem in the PSML files (in org.apache.jetspeed.services.psmlmanager.db.DBUtils.portletsToBytes(...)). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
