What I can say is that my university is really interested on open source
projects and run after any movement towards this. An example is
http://www.open-source.gr which is a recent movement to opensource
(currently working on Greek Linux) . So, such a conference would be really
interesting to us, and it would be materialized!!

Glenn was supposed to host a Jetspeed conference at his university in
Michigan, but that never materialized. What do you all think, who's up for a
beach party (code word 'conference') in Greece?

There was just an Apache conference in Las Vegas this week, where Santiago
Gala gave a presentation on developing products with open source projects
(including jetspeed).
