I have set up some customized templates and configuration, but can someone verify this with the default webapp: If I add a reference page to an account, I can't remove it. When I remove it, it shows up in the home page anyway, even though it doesn't show up in the edit panel.
Also, a trivia question: Some time ago I had a patch accepted by the Velocity group to allow multiple independent velocity engines to run on the same JVM, but my tests with jetspeeds appear to show that it is using the singleton; is this correct? I'm just curious -- I think I may end up running multiple JVMs to keep the reference webapp handy. Something else just in case someone has seen it before: In my customized webapp, when I click the user/group/role edit or add-user buttons on the admin site, it just cycles back to the list of users with no obvious messages in the velocity, jetspeed or servlet logs. I dimly remember that if Velocity has certain kinds of troubles with rendering pages, it just gives up and gives the previous page but I don't remember what it was that caused it. A little bit related to that, I notice there is no base default Velocity template, and as such, certain types of stack-trace error messages are unceremoniously dumped to the screen with log errors about missing /templates/vm/default.vm -- putting any sort of template in that slot appears to do the trick and then gives a nicely formated stacktrace with a short prelude of state data. -- Gary Lawrence Murphy - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - TeleDynamics Communications - blog: http://www.teledyn.com/mt/ - biz: http://teledyn.com/ - "Computers are useless.
