http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21324 [PATCH] - Unable to add Pane when entering customizer from top level ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-07-04 22:56 ------- I can reproduce this bug using java 1.3.1_02 and tomcat 4.1.24. The following is the click trail: Working with default jetspeed deploy. 1. Login as turbine. 2. click on customize html link at top of page. 3. click on Home pane. 4. Delete all portlets under Home. 5. Change Home to hold tab panes. Notice the add pane button does not become available. 6. Click save and apply. 7. click apply. 8. click on customize icon on the Home tab. 9. Notice that you can add a pane. That is because a null pane name was passed retrieved in the CustomizeSetAction class. 10. Cancel out. 11. Click on customize html link at top of page. 12. Click on Home. Notice that the add pane button is not enabled. This is because the pane name Home was passed to CustomizeSetAction class. It is currently set up to only allow addpane actions if the name is "*" which is set if the pane Name was null. The patch I submitted simply checks for not null and allows a pane to be added. This bug could probably go a little deeper and say that a null pane name shouldn't be returned in this situation? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
