I've noticed on a few source files in Jetspeed 2 that the author tags don't
seem to be properly maintained (like I'm listed as the author of some code
I've never seen in my life until today :? ).

My question is: if author tags are not going to be properly maintained, is
it worth it that they are included in each and every source file, why not
simply have a web author pages with rough "expertise areas" listed there ?

I don't mind one way or the other, but if we are going to keep author tags,
there should be a review by each committer to fix those. I hate to get
help requests from users on issues I have no clue about :/
