It would be nice to have it viewable in a portlet window. I've seen this 
done with Epicentric as well under their system tools section for console 
admins to review. That would be a great addition as it is also simple to do. =)

I soon have one ready, and my suggestion is to add it to the administrative
portlets, and have it work so that it lists the logfiles that are 
configured in
Log4J, and lets you view that file. (haven't decided if the file should be
viewed in the portlet or a separate window...)
