[J2] getPathInfo

Im getting a Null Pointer Exception inside of Tomcat when calling 
request.getPathInfo in the NavigationState.sync code (uncommented).
Has anyone else experienced this error?
I can't see where we are doing anything that would make Tomcat get a 
NPE.
Im going to dl the Tomcat source (4.1.30) and debug it, just wondering 
if anyone else has experience this ...
