Description:
It occured to me this morning, as I started up J2 and got a blank browser screen which
was due to the fact that the DB was not started, that a "Check Valve" that verifies
that the J2 environment is okay would be REALLY helpful.
The Check Valve could do some simple sanity checks against the datasource and other
things (what those other things are, i am not sure of yet). If there is a problem, we
can re-direct to a error reporting page.
