No, i have use the JSF RI with java studio creator for a Presentation at Cagliari University for a jugsardegna meeting, and during work i think that the portlet develop (mainly the view) can run more faster with a jsf. Form this moment i write the code for jetspeed1 (to test immediatly) and the code is not complex, i use two class and one jsp template. The noise part is according configuration file, tld and other file to work fine with tomcat and jetspeed. After complete the article (with configuration of environment step by step), i can widen the article, with the difference between RI and a open-source implements. I need only a bit of time (new born permits :-) ) to test myfaces with the code.
