It could be very benefitial for J2 to support multiple security handler of one type. For instance, the UserSecurityHandler(s) are used to provide user principal resolution. A UserSecurityProvider layer can be introduced to allow support for multiple UserSecurityHandler(s). J2 can then expose to the portal users mapping to an RDBMS store as well as an LDAP store, therefore exposing an aggregate user base from multiple backing stores.
