[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JS2-264?page=comments#action_66277 ] Scott T Weaver commented on JS2-264: ------------------------------------
We are definately looking at AJAX for rendering. However, we are required by JSR-168 that to re-render *ALL* portlets on a page when an action is invoked. Just something to keep in mind. -Scott > Updating just the portlet content > --------------------------------- > > Key: JS2-264 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JS2-264 > Project: Jetspeed 2 > Type: Improvement > Components: Layout > Environment: tomcat > Reporter: Walter Mourão > Priority: Minor > > When an action occurs inside a portlet, just that portlet content should be > updated in the browser, avoiding unwanted scrolls, unused html traffic and > other unwanted side effects. I suggest a Ajax like approach to jetspeed 2. > Thanks. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
