James,
Yes, loading users can be heavy. However, do you really anticipate
having the SAME user log into many sessions per hour or something?
Fixing guest was important because it DOES get hit with every login.
We, (Ate, David, and myself), have managed to speed up J2 quite a bit
over the last few days. Check it out!

Randy,
Thanks for responding.
Yes, I found it. But why not cache for all the users?
I am working on Security SPI for a few days, I found too many
UserManagerImpl.getUser() calls. That is really expensive if you look
into it.

James,
I think this was just added today... at least for the guest user. Check
it out.

Hi all,
I would like to know if it is possible to have a cache in
UserManagerImpl for the user object?
Any help would be appreciated.
