David, After re-reading your  comments, I now understand. I did misunderstand 
the Oct 27 comment.
I don't have a problem with anything to do with this stuff, please proceed and 
my apologies for the misunderstanding.

Michael, your opinion regarding the Admin portlets is inline with mine.
I wouldn't mind rewriting ALL the Admin portlets with foremost care to CSS, and 
proper UI design.
Ate was talking about integrating with Wicket, and then revisiting the entire 
portal design at that point.
I also think we could redesign with MyFaces, or even Spring MVC. Doesn't really 
matter to me.
As long as we all agree. My vote is to make the 2.1 release focus on Admin 
portlets and us deciding on a bridge technology 
that we all like. IMO, MyFaces is mature enough to use now, but also interested 
in Wicket.
