I get the same error regardless.

C:\>"c:\Program Files\Apache Jetspeed 2.0\bin\startup.bat"
The CATALINA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly
This environment variable is needed to run this program

set returns the correct CATALINA_HOME. Any clues?
