Thank you, I was also thinking to test the mail portlets in Jahia or in 
Exo platform and try to port them in Jetspeed...
Someone already did this experience?

One quick tip, which we did before, we just integrated the web 
interface of
existing mail instead of mail portlet, you can check mail portlet in 
Novell
Portal.
