My "local" repository never got updated (maven2) with the new jar. Of
course, if it was tagged as SNAPSHOT then I would have seen the latest
*fixed* jar (it was missing the faces-config.xml file).

No, its because we should probably be using snapshots
Most jetspeed developers  don't get this problem because we are  
actively developing both bridges and jetspeed

Its also in the Maven-2 repository, you can use either one now
