PortalSite folder/page history can be corrupted by data pipeline requests

Internal state managed by the Portal Site component can be corrupted by data
requests on other pipelines.
To duplicate using standard demo:
1. log in as user/user
2. go to Public folder
3. select map demo page
4. go back to root folder
5. go to Public folder again
Map demo page does not display properly since the folder/page history contains
the entry for the content page, not the map page. Content page displays instead
of map with this error:
Failed to retrieve Portlet Definition for demo::ContentViewer
