Hello, I am running tomcat 3.2.2 with jetspeed on a Redhat 7.1 box. Whenever I create a new user account I never receive the confirmation email with the secret key. Sendmail is configured and running properly. I have added a specific security policy in tomcat.policy to allow it to talk to port 25. my account creations are showing up in the jasper.log file, but there are no entries in sendmail's log file. So the application is not connecting to the local smtp server. In the file TurbineResources.properties mail.server=localhost i have tried several variation including =localhost:25 =our campus mail server I have searched the mailing list archive and have found messages with similar problems, but have been unable to find a working solution.
