Did you get any answer to this question?
My former question to the mailing list was how to produce content for a
popup window via a portlet. I got no replies.
I guess the only solutions would be hacks relying on the portlet container
implementation. I see no way using the portlet API for a portlet to serve a
"complete" MIME type like an image/jpeg (as e. g. there is no
PortletResponse.setContentType() method, and the portlet life cycle does not
allow for such an "isolated invocation").
Any ideas?
