The edit was to add <skin | name="orange-red"/>. The skin was correctly applies to the the user's | home page. When the user makes any changes using the customizer, the | <skin name="orange-red"/> is removed. | | How should I set the default <skin>, or any other defaults in | the .psml | file, for a user or group? As far as I know there's no way by changing the defaults.psml, because each time you change your Homepage, the customizer Customizer creates a new .psml file based on the template generated from org.apache.jetspeed.portal.portlets.customize.PSMLTemplateGenerator.
