Well, after much blundering, I've finally gotten Jetspeed built from
CVS. (By the way, has anybody else noticed that "build clean" causes some
of the source code to be deleted?) Now my problem is, when I run Jetspeed
and go to the main page, I get this message under the "Apache
Jetspeed" banner:
problem in SAX
transform: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser
I know that that class can be found in the classpath. I've unzipped the
xerxes_1_3_1.jar and checked that that class is there. Tomcat reports
xerxes_1_3_1.jar is in the classpath when it starts up. So why can't
Jetspeed find the SAXParser class?
I'm running Tomcat 3.2.1 on a RedHat 7.0 box with JDK 1.2.2
