I dont think that WEB-INF/psml/user/default.psml is currently in use. It may
need to be updated to the lastest PSML format.
Is there ever a case where it gets used?

When you say default, perhaps do you mean the anonymous psml file?

The default 'anonymous' psml file is found under
WEB-INF/psml/anon/html/en/default.psml if your language is english,
otherwise it goes to WEB-INF/psml/anon/html/default.psml

For new users, I am now copying the turbine user's default psml into the new
user's psml directory (same for new groups and new roles)
The next step will be to configure some psml 'templates' that the user can
choose from when creating a new profile
