Well, I'm afraid that I don't have the details, but I've heard mentioned 
the ability to write customized authentication routines for Jetspeed.  If 
your users are already stored into LDAP, then Java's JNDI routines should 
be able to query the LDAP server to get that information.  Heck, you may 
even be able to write an LDAP interface for the project and submit 
it.  That would be really cool.
