Yah, that's I know today,
But I have a idea like this.
Skining is popular, you can see netscape browser,
Media player, if you change the skin, they change all
of it including the toolbar, etc. I successfully
implement skin using my own template, which include
not only the color of the skin, but effecting all the
image. I implement all of this in my portlet psml, in
controller level. and success without problem, and I
can say, Jetspeed quiet stable in this level. GREAT
JOB TEAM... I love you... ;)
But, I try to implement that concept, every time an
user login, the skin is effect not only in portlet
controller, or portlet but all the velocity templates.
This make the scope of the jetspeed wider. is that
right?? Imagine every time an user login, the skin
effect the pages. See, the yahoo.com, you can change
all the background color, and effect all the pages.
I think skin.xreg have to become a global variable. is
there possible??? I am trying to open the source code
now, starting with AbstractPortlet, may be in several
weeks (Ugh.. too long isn't it)...
