Just wanna lte you know that it's working. In case some other folk want to
know this is what I did. First, copy jetspeed.war under tomcat/webapps, then
start tomcat to create the jetspeed directory. Then copy ecs.jar,
jetspeed.jar, turbine.jar, velocity.jar, village.jar under tomcat/lib.

I'm not sure this is causing you problem, but I had few problems with 
Jboss/tomcat because there was many different XML parsers in the classpath.

You should check what ../WEB-INF/log/jetspeed.log says. If there's some 
exceptions from Xalan, you've probably entered classpath hell ;).

I didn't really need JBoss on the same server, so I ditched it and 
installed Tomcat 4.0-b6 and everything worked smoothly from the start.
